A distributed system has to operate in a reliable and efficient manner in the presence of failures and
unbalanced resource demands. Process .Migration emerges as a possible solution to these problems.
In this dissertation an environment for supporting process migration on the ]]ECSYSTEM-2050 has been imple-mented. Problems associated with process migration have been identified and solutions to some of these have been given°. |
