dc.description.abstract | The increasing need for accuracy in Photorrrammetric methods has brought the question of distortion to the forefront as a problem of the first order. In the present'paper an attempt has been made to deal with all the sources contributing towards the intro- duction of distortion and their behaviour and effect on the final product nthe topographical mapu. The methods and means for elimination of distortion are reviewed and the effect of not completely eliminated (residual) dis- tortion on mappingvkaerial triangulation is investigated. | en_US |
