dc.description.abstract Nickel—Molybdenum alloy was electrodeposited from phosphate baths. The effect of Molybdenum atomic percentage was investigated. The cyclic voltammetry was performed at different pH values in order to determine the reduction potential range. The experiments were conducted by different - molar ratio, duty cycles, current density range, and potential range. The observed co deposited molybdenum atomic percentage variations in alloy were investigated for grain size, cauliflower like structure, effect on porosity, surface roughness and on the wear and corrosion properties. The results revel that molybdenum atomic percentage in the Ni-Mo alloy has effect on cauliflower like structure, porosity and wear and corrosion properties. The RMS value of surface roughness was not only affected by the molybdenum atomic percentage but also by Taff potential. The important effect of Toff on the growth of cauliflower was noticed. The electrodeposited were analyzed by SEM, EDAX, AFM and XRD techniques. en_US
