Authors: Pavan, Annasamudram Sunil
Keywords: ELECTRONICS AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING;ELECTRONICS AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING;ELECTRONICS AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING;ELECTRONICS AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING
Issue Date: 2003
Abstract: The Dissertation deals with the application of Transformative techniques for one-dimensional data. The Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), the Fast Walsh Transform(FWT) and the Fast Hartley Transform(FHT) are the Transforms chosen for the work. The introduction of the Transformative technique of Data compression and different techniques of compression are presented in first chapter. The details about the Transformative technique of Data compression are given in chapter two. The procedural steps to implement Fast Fourier Transform, Fast Walsh Transform, Fast Hartley transform and various aspects of software implementation are discussed in the chapter two. The implementation of the Transformative Techniques on the Digital Signal Processor chip (TMS320C25) and on the personal computer, the details about the implementation of inverse transforms are also discussed in chapter three. The ECG data is taken from the file MA.001.DCD available in Common Standard Electrocardiography (CSE) database. The results and discussions on performance aspects are presented in chapter four. The conclusion of the present work and scope of future work are also given in the last chapter
