Issue Date: 2003
Abstract: Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSSs), which find wide spread applications as filter for microwave, has been the subject of extensive studies in recent years. In the present study, effect of three different Frequency selective surfaces and variation in periodicity on ferrite based microwave absorber is discussed. Reflection characteristics of Square Loop Frequency selective surface are also discussed. Square Loop Frequency selective surface is analyzed by using Method of Moment (MoM). The operator equation is formed using electric field boundary condition. The operator equation is converted into spectral domain using Fourier transforms. This operator is then converted into matrix equation by Galerkin's procedure. Roof-top functions are chosen as basis and testing functions. Computer simulation has been carried out for reflection characteristics of Square Loop Frequency selective surface at various angle of incidence
