This dissertation presents a review of the work carried out by the various authors for using Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing in digital mobile communication radio channel. The basic principle of OFDM has been presented and after that the distortion analysis for OFDM in mobile channel has been discussed. In this analysis we have taken distortion basically from decorellation of pilot and data. A simple expression for the evaluation of Bit Error Rate (BER) and Word Error Rate (WER) is also presented. Various synchronization techniques, to be used in OFDM, are also presented.en_US
