Abstract: In this dissertation, design of SC equalizers and SC oscillators have been presented. To begin,. theory of -switched capacitor networks is dealt with & resistor equivalence of basic switched capacitor network is shown. A general study on Sampled data filter systems has been carried out. Method for analysis of SC networks (viz. nodal analysis ) is discussed and z-domain equivalent circuits for simple SC networks have been derived. A digitally programmable switched capacitor equalizer has been taken up for design. Next, the effects of op amp finite gain on the equalizer performance are discussed in detail. A software package has been developed in 'C' programming language, for the design and simulation, & results are presented. Further, a sinusoidal SC oscillator has also been designed which uses only two unity gain buffers and capacitors for its operation. A software package has been developed in 'C' programming language for the design of this oscillator also, which determines amplitude and frequency of oscillations, given the capacitors values and clock frequency.
