Analysis of electromagnetic scattering has been done numerically using electric field integral equation and method of moments. Efficient computer codes have been developed based on the above analysis for different conducting scatterers. A powerful set of basis functions associated with triangular patches and distributed over scattering domain has been used in the approach based on method of moments. The advantages of the above basis functions, its properties and comparison with alternative functions are systematically dealt before deriving, matrix equations. Solution of matrix equation have been carried out with the help of unique computer codes developed for induvidual scatteres. Steps leading to the development of compute codes have been presented with reference to a representative program. ' Investigations have been carried out for estimation of radar cros section, induced current density and angle dependence of incident plane wave with arbitrary polarisation. The simulated results have been demonstrated with plots and tables. To check the authenticity of the present work comparative studies with open literature have been presented where ever possible. Although investigations are carried out on conducting scatterers only, it can easily be extended to any future work on dielectric bodies. The scatterers covered in the present work are conducting square- plates, bent square plates, discs, cylindrical, conical and spherical surfaces....en_US
