An experimental study of a two-diode wave guide gunn oscillator has been attempted. Three x-band modules were designed and fabricated for the purpose of the study. The difference in the three modules is only the spacing between the mounting posts. The modules were designed for an operating frequency of 9.5 GHz. A tunning short was used to very the operating point of oscillator. The power outputs and oscillation frequencies of the three modules are compared. The power combining efficiency and coupling coefficient are also calculateden_US
