Authors: Nandekar, Narendra Y.
Keywords: ELECTRONICS AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING;DISCRETE EVENT SIMULATION PACKAGE;CSMA/CD PROTOCOL;TELEPROCESSING SYSTEM
Issue Date: 1989
Abstract: ,In the present dissertation, a discrete event simulation package "DESIPAC" has been developed for Turbo C in Turbo C on IBM PC/XT(AT) compatible. DESIPAC is a collection of procedures that allow discrete event simulation programs to be easily developed in 'C'. The package supports basic data structures (FACILITY,STORAGE,CHAIN and TRANSACTION) to define entities and provides procedures for creating and managing these entities and for displaying output of the simulation. CSMA/CD protocol for Local Area Network and a teleprocessing system have been simu-lated using DESIPAC.
