Abstract: Visualizing the increasing utility and size of computer network in last few years, the study of subject reliability evaluation in computer network becomes very important. The adoption of computer network in many critical fields namely nuclear and chemical process control, leads to considerable research in the field of efficient exact relic-- bility evaluation methods. In this dissertation we aim to select efficient exact reliability evaluation method. For this three methods are considered and programs for them using pointer type data structure in Pascal are written. These are run on DEC 2050 system. The run time and memory requirement for various computer networks show that recursive technique has an edge over Abraham's method and SYREL.
