Abstract: This report throws light on different noise removal techniques used for image processing using DEG.2O54. For illustrative purposes in addition to a thirty two gray level picture, two 2..tone pictures have also been generated on line printer by using over. printing of characters. After the four types of noises have been introduced to thirty, two gray level picture, the same are removed with different linear as well as nonlinear .,techniques. Besides this, contrast enhancement. by conventional method, Walls method and by histogram equalization, edging using different types of gradients also have been demonstrated with the help of the images generated. online printer.
