dc.description.abstract | The problem covered in this dissertation deals with the synthesis of resistive n-port networks by using a Digital Computer. However, it should be possible to extend the programmes developed here for the realization of RLC networks. The computerization of n-port network synthesis techniques realizing an,immittance matrix of order n into a suitable network with n + 1 nodes (n independent links) is discussed, Computer programme, alongwith flow charts, has been evolved for one of the recent synthesis techniques. The realization of circuit matrix into a graph (oriented or non-oriented) is also studied for computerization. The computer language used for progra-mming in this dissertation is FORTRAN II. An IBM 1620 computer has been used for testing the various programmes. Several examples have also been completely worked out. Some suggestions for further improve-ments of the present results have been pointed out, | en_US |
