Abstract: This work is concerned with the design of a language intended for Boolean Algebraic manipula~-tions and the development of a compiler for the language. In pursuance of this goal, the following are presented: (i) Aspects related to the design of the Boolean Algebra language (BAL), (ii) the features provided in the language, and (iii) the methodology employed in the construc- tion of the BAL compiler. The compiler itself is provided as a Pascal program, implemented on an APPLE J[ computer.
