Abstract: | Pabry-Perot resonator was. first used in optics and now it je finding many applications in the lower spectrum of micro wave frequencies. Due to its high selecti-vity, suitable size and easy. construction, it provides very useful oo1 suitable for mating sensitive and accurate measurement 5. .A ,study of this elevice was taken up and four different models were designed. and fabricated 11ith the use of commonly available lathes, to wrIc in different base of fienojes. Models yielded reasonably high Q values. The use of these motels in dielectric measurements gave good results within limitations of available equipment. A new technique is used in calculation of 4stance (mirror separation) in dielectric measurements. It vas tried for three different settings and was found to yield more accurate and consistent results for .our experimental conditions. |
