dc.description.abstract | An attempt has been made in this dissertation work to study the theoretical and practical aspects of a ' Chromjnance Delay Line'. Design aspects of ultrasonic delay lines using Bulk wave have been compiled and transducer parameters studied for this purpose. Measurements of transducer motional pars- , zae tern have been carried, out according to the IRE Standards ( IRE 57 •Sl) . These measured parameters have been compared with theoretical values computed. Conclu-sion from material parameters of NPLZT-6 and PIEZOCEL--A sho'c'r the former to be of narrow bandwidth and high Q while latter is wide band and of low Q. 'Measurements on e, small delay time delay line were done to study the attenuation in energy in electro-mechanical conver-sion, bond and medium. | en_US |
