Abstract: Rapid and oontiiuing advances in the field of Njoowa,e Integrated Circuits have facilitated the developnet of Mico.etrtp Antennas. Integration allows the realisation of these antennas with small size, low cost and low profile antennae; thereby eliminating the need of 'eioboiate gimbals and mechanically or electronic afly scatted feeds, whLch are relatively bulky and expensive. These. Microetrip atennae for chosen specifications have been desi'ied, fabrieated, and tested.' Various types of Dielectric based antennas have also been reviewed in brief
