Abstract: The environment is a closed circuit and the ecological equilibrium is. more or less a pin-pointed balance. The precious resources of earth (air, water and land) which are finite, can be taken as capital only, not interest. The pressure on the environment, due to environmental pollution, is increasing day by day in such a magnitude that it may exceed the tolerance limit and may create disaster to ecological balance, thereby bringing probable d6struction of all foi s of life from the face of the earth. So man, sheding all the egos as the superior species and throwing all selfishness, is expected to act more wisely and show constructive approach for preservation of precious resources and other species ( and thereby the ecological balance) . Any step, whatever small may be, towards achieving the above goal counts much. The work done in this thesis, for study of a ecological system, is an small attempt towards achievement of above goal.
