Vedic -Mathematics (VM) offers a comprehensive approach to Mathematics, based on pattern recognition and allows for constant expression of a student's creativity. The VM provides a multiple choice system with flexibility at each stage of working, which keeps the mind lively and alert. It provides mental and superfast methods along with quick cross checking systems. As such VM is a boon for all competitions. VM has been found to be easier to learn and delightful to use. First chapter is introduction which is followed by second chapter on VM in brief. This is followed by third Chapter on Tribhujank. This is followed by fourth chapter on Logical tables. Table A: 16 sutras and 13 upsutras have been presented in sequence. Meaning of each of them has been explained. Applications of each sutra and upsutra in solving different problems of Arithmatic and Algebra have been illustrated with suitable examples. Table B: Different operations of Arithmatic and Algebra are taken up one by one and the applicable sutra or upsutra is listed. Table C: This is the typical logic table which shall be useful for future development in software and hardware based on the Vedic Maths pattern based system. In this, operation is given and depending upon the pattern of problem, appropriate sutra or upsutra is identified. Chapter 5: Relevance of Vedic Maths for structural engineer is introduced.
