dc.description.abstract | This disseration deals with the design of primary and secondary sensing elements. The primary sensing elements namely bourdon tube and bellows are designed in this work. The response of the primary sensing element is linear and similar to the sensor available for the pressure measurement in the industrial field. All the conditions of design are cosidered here. The secondary sensing elements namely linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) and capacitive displacement transducer are also designed in this work. he primary sensing elements measure the pressure and give the output i terms of deflection. The secondary sensing elements measure the deflection and gives the output interms of voltage. The response is linear. Here a program has been developed on the basis of the design algorithm of the primary and secondary sensing elements. It has result in a useful package. The dveloped software has been tested for different types of primary and secondary sensing elements. | en_US |
