Title: MODEL REDUCTION AND APPLICATION TO CONTROLLER DESIGN
Authors: Singh, Vijay
Keywords: ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING;MODEL REDUCTION;CONTROLLER DESIGN;MIMO SYSTEM
Issue Date: 1999
Abstract: In the. analysis and design of a high order linear time invariant system, it is often necessary to get a low order model so that it may be used for an analogue or digital simulation of the system, or for designing controllers for the system. In this dissertation, we have discussed the two methods of model order reduction one is 'based on eigenspectrum analysis and step response matching, other is the classical Marshall method of action, in which the multi-input & multi-output (MIMO) systemsrL In this dissertation, we have also discussed the reduction of control low using modal approach.
