| Abstract: | A various modulation techniques of PWM inverter have been studied. A comparative study of various PWM techniques has been carried out. A dead band PWM technique is described and implemented to a 3 phase inverter system. The generation of PWM waveform using micro-controller 1803 II and the design of power circuit are dealt in detail. The experimental results are provided 3 please inverter with variable voltage, current , with the harmonic sputrum of dead band pattern clearly shows the minimization of harmonic contents. The results reveal the dead-band PWM technique which gives higher output and lesser switching losses, as compared to the conventional sinusoidal PWM techniques, which are desirable in any inverter application. |
