dc.description.abstract | With developments in the RCC construction industry, we require faster modelling and analysis, rapid design and detailing. The easy availability of personal computer at a moderate cost have made a tremendous impact on the function of design offices, needing several multipurpose computer programmes for analysis and design of large complicated structures. In the present study, an attempt has been made to prepare the software package for analysis and design of R.C. building frames. The present plane frame analysis has been done using approximate methods of analysis. The program for beam design can design singly and doubly reinforced beam of rectangular or T-section. The column design program is written for uniaxial and biaxial bending. It can design both short and long columns. For the design, limit state method has been used. The programs are written in C language. The software is interative, user friendly and easy to modify. | en_US |
