Abstract: In the application, where input voltage does not differ from the output voltage, basic switched mode converters are to be used in the single input & single output with a common reference point. But in application where the input voltage is very high and output voltage is in very small fraction of input voltage, isolated ac to dc converters are developed in recent years. High frequency transformers are used for isolation. Aim to develop a Three Phase Isolated AC-DC Cuk converter which can compensate the harmonics produced by diode bridge rectifier. It also decreases input and output ripples. The control technique for isolated ac-dc cuk rectifier is such that it makes the input current sinusoidal and gives the almost unity power factor. Design equation are calculated for the converter. Hardware results and Simulation results - are tested for close loop control and results are shown. Performance investigation is done for the converter
