dc.description.abstract | �â� �¢ Problem of mixed landuse, e.g. industrial-residential, commercial-residential & commercial-industrial. �â� �¢ Large numbers of government offices are located in residential buildings. �â� �¢ Narrow streets inside the town. �â� �¢ No parking facility near shopping area, and semi-public building etc. Vehicles are parked on the road, which creates problem of traffic congestion. �â� �¢ Number of shops is too much the area under commercial use is very less. Resulting in very small shop frontage. �â� �¢ Traffic congestion on crossings. �â� �¢ Encroachment by informal shopping activities. �â� �¢ Acute shortage of houses. �â� �¢ In old city area there is no under drainage system. �â� �¢ Linear development along the highways thus resulting in encroachment on the highways. �â� �¢ Informal sector is found every where in the city. �â� �¢ Public Facilities and amenities are not up to the mark. | en_US |
