In this study, the Element-Free Galerkin (EFG) method has been used for the analysis of beams on elastic foundation problems. A computer program has been developed by using FORTRAN and MATLAB language to solve problemof infmite beams on elastic foundation subjected to central point load. The moving least squares (MLS) approximation has been used in generating shape functions. The results obtained by the EFG method have been compared with analytical solution. The comparisons show that results obtained from Element Free Galerkin Method are in reasonable agreement with analytical solution.en_US
