dc.description.abstract | Due to its simplicity and reliability the current source inverter has been applied in many industrial applications. The continuously increasing cost of energy attracts the investigators for minimizing the losses. In this thesis the performance of current source inverter fed induction motor drive has been investigated with minimum loss control. Simulation study has been done for the converter using MATLAB. The comparison between the performance of induction machine with minimum loss control and slip regulator control has also been studied. Various aspects were covered partially, though enough study has been done so as to predict the behavior of the system | en_US |
