One of the major stability problems in modern da power system is Small Signal Stability. To solve the small signal stability problem, various FACTS)controllers now a day are being used. The parameters of these controllers need to be adjusted online to improve the stability. However, to achieve this objective the margin of small signal instability should be determined first as quickly as possible. n this work a methodology is developed or on-line determination of Small Signal Stability margin using ANN in a Multi-machine Power System.en_US
