Abstract: Grid-connected Variable Speed Constant Frequency Power conversion scheme using Brush-less DC generator is modelled and evaluated. An alternator connected to diode bridge rectifier and inverter has been analysised as a Brush-less DC generator. PI controller is designed to control the triggering angle of inverter so that dc link current remains constant. A concept of the peak Power Tracker system has been also included to get maximum utilization of turbine power. Variation in Wind turbine speed yields problems voltage fluctuation and harmonic distribution. In this work, the performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated analytically
