Issue Date: 2002
Abstract: This dissertation concerns with design of controller of high performance induction motor drive. Design and critical performance of the drive through mathematical simulation with drive having following kind of controller s'.or close poop operation of the drive is done. i, P1 Controllers: Pt controllers are used in Field oriented control io;: the purpose of flux and speed control whose parameters are synthesized using a D-partition technique. ii. PD Controllers: PD controllers are used in Input-output linearization for the purpose of flux and speed control whose parameters are synthesized using a D-partition technique. W. P Controllers: P controllers are used in sliding mode control for the purpose of flux and speed control which are designed by observing the time response flux and speed. The drive performance, both transient and .steady--state, is evaluated using simulation model and compared regarding suitability of
