In present work, A D.C. motor fed from a multiphase chopper has been analyzed for steady state and transient behavior. The waveforms of current speed and torque have been obtained at motor terminals and supply terminals under full load condition for both series and separately exited type of dc machines under different settings of duty cycles. A comparison of performance so obtained is made with the conventional chopper fed D.C. motor drive.en_US
