dc.description.abstract | Power Stations . are required to 1 supply the electrical.. power continuously. If the . entire power system can be made reliable, the -. popularity of electrical power system is obvious. At present the dependence. on -electrical _ energy is increasing day ` by day in all 'developing countries, so more .reliable power system is - sought everywhere: Stability - studies- are thus conducted; whether or not the. system under study . will remain in, synchronism under all possible conditions of load changes. The uniqueness of the . system:. under study " is that the governor is absent. Instead . the generator . is : provided with electronic - output controller with a phantom -load to absorb excess of generated power . over the system consumer load demand at any instant..: Since the system under 'study is isolated : oiae, and without governor, `: small -changes - in _ .load ' is of sig"ificance,- as - total electrical loading: of generator should be - maintained constant. The transient stability- study_. -is conducted to predetermine the response of the system under severest condition of the load change... The change and its dynamics are - represented` by current fluxlinkage mathematical 'model and -studied : for satisfactory behaviour. This . system stability: study can further ' be extended ;`= to interconnected system: with necessary . modification : in -mathematical "simulation. Here the system is isolated and .program is developed to suit only such type of systems'.: | en_US |
