The technique of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) has been employed for adaptive filtering of ECG data. First, the error back propagation ANN (5-3-1) w.As trained for every portion of the ECG wave, except the QRS complex. When the ECG signal to be filtered was presented to the trained network, it modelled only those portions of ECGs which it had learnt during the process of training. As a result, the network filtered all the QRS complexes as output. Finally the method was used to filter out QRS complexes from the CSE data base.en_US
