Abstract: | Photogrammetric approach to generate DTM has recently considerable interest in the remote sensing community for its simplicity and accuracy, especially in light of the trend that some commercial high resolution satellite imagery data are supplied with RPC without disclosing the physical sensor model. RPC with stereo pair , provide full photogrammetric processing including 3-D reconstruction, DEM generation, orthorectification, block adjustment and feature extraction . This steady present a complete methodology for DEM generation from stereo satellite images using rational polynomial coefficient of the imagery geometry and comparative study between commercial software's accuracy and performance are checked for DEM generated from stereo image using RPC approach. This study carried out the generation of DTM using RPC with different software and then compares these results. This study also consider factor affecting accuracy of DEM in the photogrammetric software. Like tie point generation process what parameter is passed and how they affect the accuracy of DEM. |
