There are so many structure constructed at near fault location. Near fault ground motion having different characteristic like fling effect, directivity effect, permanent ground deformation and response spectrum analysis is not enough for taking all aspects of near fault ground motion. In most of the cases we don't have site specific record in that cases we can generate artificial record artificial record. For the analysis and checking near faults effect Tejpur Bridge is taken. In the nonlinear time history analysis North Ridge (1994) and Kobe (1995) Earthquake record are used. For the comparison between near fault ground motion and far field ground motion ,response spectrum compatible time history are used. In this study directivity effect, comparison between near field and field, analysis at different location is done. Non linear time history analysis is done in SAP software. Material nonlinearity considered in analysis and in the nonlinear time history analysis direct integration method is used. Finally base shear, moment and displacement calculated in each set of time history.en_US
