Graphical User Interface (GUT) is the rage of early nineties. It has taken the world by storm. The software has been making achievements for 30 years by implementing advancements in GUI design. GUI has strong impact on program acceptability. GUI is intended to provide direct correlation between the visual stimulus on the computer screen and the desired response from the computer. Due to the provision of GUI design for any practical problem it is very simple. In the present report full details of GUI design have been presented for a simple structural dynamics problem. Initially the C language was used for implementing GUI. However, later Visual Basic was found to be more convenient and used. Here, the Graphical User Interface is designed for the dynamic analysis of single degree of freedom systems. The well-established GUI controls have been used in the design. Animation for plotting the dynamic response has been implemented. Before implementation of GUI, it is important to plan and design the GUI for any application.en_US
