New software developments has increased the scope, quality and number of applications that aid the analysis and design process. One trend, the use of object-oriented methodology (O.O.M.), appears with increasing frequency in the literature and in the market place. Object-Oriented Programming (O.O.P.) is an approach to program organization and development that attempts to eliminate some of the pitfalls of conventional programming methods by incorporating the best of structured programming features with several powerful new concepts. It is a new way of organizing and developing programs and has nothing to do with any particular language. In this thesis, object-oriented methodology has been used to solve the problem of analysis, design, estimation and drafting of Intze tank, staging and foundation. The container, staging and foundation have been treated as objects. C++ language has been used to implement the object-oriented philosophy. A software package has been prepared and this has been made user friendly. The user is presented with various options pertaining to the analysis, design, estimating and drafting results.en_US
