Todate, various models have been proposed to describe the seepage face. All of these models differ in terms of the dependence of seepage face on aquifer discharge. One has no basis for selecting the seepage face models• In this thesis various seepage models are summarised and on the basis of these, a generalized seepage face model is proposed. It is found that all the seepage face models are particular case of it.. Using this model in the discrete kernel frame work leads to estimation of aquifer discharge, well discharge and draw down versus time data for assumed aquifer and well properties.en_US
