Issue Date: 1994
Abstract: For the same R.C. Structure and imposed loading we have different types of floor systems. In floor system great amphasis is given to the thickness of floor, which is kept minimum and spacing of coloumn, which is kept maximum.Grid floor system is suited for such requirements, but for large spans. Considerable research has been done for the design of R.C. grid Floors, however. available literature regarding Efficiency of R.C. grid Floors are not exhaustive. Hence the purpose of this dissertation is •to gain information about sturctural efficiency of different R.C. grid floors. The Present work includes the analysis of grid floor subjected to dead loads and live loads. The analysis programcalculates bending moment, shear force and torsional moment at the desired section along the span. However the program is limited to simple support condition.
