Three dimensional dynamic analysis of the monument Taj Mahal has been carried out considering the dwmpings as 7 % of the critical and 10 % of the critical for fixed base and flexible base (using soil springs) of the monument respectively. In the analysis the code spectra and site dependent spectra has been used for evaluating the response of the monument. The dynamic analysis of flexible base model Is carried sprLngs have, beern evolwoted, •for three di. e7en.-~ out for three cases. The free variational characteristics and seismic response for bending moments, shear forces, axial forces, torsional moments and deflection have been studied.en_US
