Abstract: In the present study, an attempt has been made to investigate the seismic response of a seven-storey reinforced concrete frame-wall building through the use of a computer programme DRAIN-2DX. Version 1.10 has been used to perform the 2-D analysis of the building. Two different ground motions Koyna and El Centro, each consisting of two normal components have been used in the analysis. Time-History curves and envelopes of elements, both have been used' in showing the results for better understanding.
