Issue Date: 1995
Abstract: Non linearities in transducers are faced by an instrument Engineer, which are to be successfully handled to make best use of the same. The effort starts from linearizing the output using software techniques so that it can be made easily computer compatible. Some work had already been done in this area and algorithm were available. Computer program was developed to handle nonlinear transducer output with the help of these algorithm. A new software was developed by the author based on the calibration technique and then the same was successfully tested on results obtained from nonlinear transducers in laboratory as. well as on results reported in literature. Apart from this, a comparative analysis was carried between different techniques. i.e., between the existing ones and the one developed by the author. As is obvious, the entire work opened up the future possibilities of research in this area.
