Title: DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTERPRETER FOR THE ANALYSIS OF ECG WAVEFORMS
Authors: Kumar, Nav
Keywords: ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING;INTERPRETER;ECG WAVEFORMS;ECG
Issue Date: 1993
Abstract: The analysis of ECG waveform provides sufficient diagnostic information about the state and functioning of the heart. The diagnosis of ECG is done by recognizing some characteristic features of ECG i.e. the various cardiac complexes, segments, waves, durations and amplitudes etc. In this dissertatin work, an interpreter has been developed for the analysis of ECG waveforms. The Interpreter performs two distinct tasks, the first is a pattern recognition and pattern parameter measurement task and the second one is interpretation task. The syntactic approach has been used for pattern recognition. The results are quite satis-factory and encouraging
