The stability of rock.slopes is one of the important factors used by the Civil Engineers. Landslides, slips and rock falls are some of the terms used to describe the movement of the rocks in the rock slope engineering. These movement can be merely inconvenient and time to time may become seriously damaging or even disasterous. Moreover, with the increase in construction activities and. change in geological conditions abruptly, in the lower Himalayan region, it become necessary to evalute the stability of hill slopes. In present study, a 'Computer Program for Stability Analysis of Rock Slopes with Tetrahedral Wedge Sliding with Graphics' has been developed. In the analysis, 'Fortran' language alcing with 'graph X' library has been used to present the analysis result:s with graphics display on P.C. monitor. As personal computers are readily available with the engineers at their. offices, hence, the present work provides an efficient means to analyse the rock slopes with a physical feel of landslide problems.en_US
