GENERATION OF DATA BANK FOR CLOSE RANGE PHOTOGRAMMETRIC APPLICATIONS

Abstract

Close Range photogrammetry has found a variety of application areas in last three decades. In order to make it more effective and better suited to new fields of applications, continuous research work are needed. For doing research work in this fields one must have knowledge that where the work of his interest (application area) have been done or is in progress, and from where he can get the details of work for his reference without wasting his time in searching of published literature. Secondly for making better communication between different disciplines of photogrammetry, for the benefit of all concerned and for further development of this science a centralised system of infor-mation regarding close range photogrammetric applications is required. Keeping above views in mind a data bank for close range photo-grammetric applications has been generated. It consists informations' about close range photogrammetric applications and following operations which are to be performed on the data bank.
