Title: | RAINFALL INTENSITY-DURATION-FREQUENCY ANALYSIS |

Issue Date: | 1988 |
Abstract: | The rainfall intensity-duration-frequency relationships are needed for many hydrologic design purposes. A few investi-gators have developed intensity-duration-frequency relationships for some particular locations in India. But no general relationship has been developed so far which could be applicable for all the stations spread over various parts of India. Keeping this in view, in present study the analysis of data compiled for sixty stations spread over several parts of India has been carried out to develop a general relationship for estimation of rainfall intensity for short durations. |
