| Abstract: | The present dissertation work was designed to give a predictor equation for diffusion coefficient in a rectangular open channel for which no satisfactory predictor equation is available so far. Author has collected experimental diffusion data from different sources. The data were analysed using the principal component analysis. The proposed predictor equation for Dz gives the results which are in good agreement with the observed values |
