Title: EFFECT OF TOPOGRAPHY ON DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
Authors: Shekhawat, Naredra Singh

Issue Date: 1987
Abstract: The square gridiron network for undulating ground surface has been designed using non linear programming with Lagrange multipliers. Equations have been developed to help in decision making about desirability of pumping system or gravity system for a transmission main and distribution systems of square gridiron network type. Through the use of equations developed some control can be exercised by changing the design parameters so as to have the decision in favour of gravity system. Examples have been given for design of the square gridiron network • and use of the equations developed herein.
