Authors: Kumar, Santosh
Keywords: CHEMICAL ENGINEERING;HOMOPOLYMERS;POLYBLENDS;CONCENTRATED SOLUTIONS
Issue Date: 1985
Abstract: The present investigation pertains to the studies on rheological behaviour of homopolymers and polyblends'in concentrated solutions.. Effect of concentration and temperature has been studied on the rheological behaviour of concentrated solu- tions of polymethyl-methacrylate, polystyrene, polyvinyl- , • acetate and polyblend of PiviMA (Polar) with PS (Non-Polar) • homopolymers, of different compositions. The concentration of solutions studied was varied from 5 to 20 gm of- polar •• polymer per dl of toluene for PMRA and PVA; 20 to 100 gm of -non-pOlar polymer per dl of toluene for PS end 20:20, 20:25, 20:50, 20:100
