Health facilities at any area can be divided into two main types that are known as primary health centers and community health centers. The former provides basic health care services and the latter provides services for specialist health treatment. In present study planning is done for locating the new PHSCs(Primary Health Sub Centers) in Laksar area. Health authorities have always aimed to provide health care for all residents using a fair access policy that is characterized as providing the right service at the right time in the right place. To ensure better medical facility planning, it is important to have reliable and accurate health facilities measures so that true services shortage areas can be accurately identified and resources allocated to those needy areas to alleviate the problem. Health care planning in a given location is influenced by many factors, including the availability of health services in the area (supply), the number of people living in that location (demand), the population's health status, the socio-economic and financial resources available to the population. In present study area(Laksar) the demographic indicator which is being considered, are percentage SC/ST population, percentage BPL household,2011 population density(projected on the basis of 2001 census data) ,distance from road and distance from existingen_US
